The Department of Registrations of Government of Telangana has asked the sub-registrars to stop UDS property registrations, but some sub-registrars are apparently in no mood to implement the order.
According to reliable information, such registrations are taking place in the stretch of the region from ORR to RRR region. It came to the notice that UDS registrations do take place in some districts of Telangana.
In fact, the Registrations Department of Government of Telangana has issued clear orders prohibiting UDS property registrations without any agreement of sale between the sellers and buyers in real estate projects that secured clearances from local bodies.
In the name of the UDS, some perpetrators of irregularities in Hyderabad offering to sell properties at low cost and collecting the total money upfront. These realtors have been diverting their funds to other projects to the detriment of the buyers.
There is scope for the buyers to sink their money in such projects. Realising it, the state government asked the sub-registrars not to register the properties without the agreement of sale.
