What will happen to Twin tower debris?

The twin towers of Noida became a part of the history. On directions from the Supreme Court, they were razed to the ground successfully at 2.30 pm on Aug 28 by triggering controlled blasts. The nine-year legal battle came to a logical end in just 12 seconds by pulling down the structures. The two structures collapsed like a pack of cards in full view of the public in no time. The Super Tech builder had to spend Rs 17.5 crore to raze the towers to the ground. Huge pile of debris piled up at the blast site.

The officials say that it takes at least three months to clear 80,000 tons of the debris. The Edifice Engineering, which demolished the structure, was entrusted with the task of clearing the debris. First the debris will be broken into small pieces for convenience of the transport. Later, the debris will be recycled for re-use. The recycled debris will be used in new projects as per the specifications.
