Public demand clarity on GO 111
Has this GO been scrapped? Or is it still being implemented?
Until about a year ago, GO 111 was a hot topic in Telangana. It was intensely discussed by everyone from ordinary public to big realtors. However, the previous BRS government cleverly took a step by removing one para from GO 111 and released a new GO 69. They conducted propaganda claiming the cancellation of GO 111. They gave various leaks saying that they would prepare a master plan for 65,000 acres and develop it as a Green City. After the elections, they planned to completely remove GO 111. However, the BRS government lost power afterward.
Despite this, at that time, PCC President Revanth Reddy expressed strong objections to the cancellation of GO 111. He even went so far as to suggest tying up and stoning KCR, KTR, Somashekar, and Arvind Kumar near the Martyrs Memorial. Now, even after being in power for seven to eight months, people are questioning why Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is not speaking about GO 111. In these seven months of governance, there has not been even a single review of the GO. There has not been any mention of it at all. Therefore, people are demanding that the government clarify its stance on this issue.
