Warehouse Demand on Rise

The Hyderabad Warehousing Market has a turnover of about 3.2 million square feet in 2021, according to the latest report released by Cyril. Fifty per cent more transactions were reported in this segment compared to 2020. About 65 per cent of the demand is from e-commerce companies. After that the share of consumer durables companies was about fifteen percent.

PL, FMCG, Pharma companies etc. have taken up more space. Demand for this specialty has grown significantly as a result of recent corporate scandals in Patancheru, Idula Nagulapalli, Gundlapochampally, Medchal and Kallakal. Looking at the report it seems that the demand for personal warehouses is high.

In terms of warehouse rent, it has increased by almost 3 to 5 percent compared to 2021. While most of the companies are showing interest towards Shamshabad.. it is noteworthy that the next position is Medical. Land prices in the areas around the Outer Ring Road have risen by a maximum of 25 per cent. Cyril has revealed that 2022 will be a bright future for the sector.
