“With a reverie to have a dream house to be in time-honored styles, like how these houses in Tamilnadu region have-the ‘manduva’ houses! What I like about that is when it pours, it falls in the middle of the house with loads of plants and a play area for my dog outside of the house as authentic as possible with huge trees and typical compound, maybe some modern customization and usage of glass for windows and doors. And, utensils of clay for cooking and crockery of copper!” shares the Thimmarasu actress in an exclusive conversation with REG news.
She loving to live back in years never tried changing the old behavior at all. Accepting the changes that she wants to without a doubt instill in her dream house, the design in the form of ‘manuduva’ houses will be something different to look at also. A Manduva Logili or a manduva house is a kind of courtyard house suitable for extended family to live in. Manduva Logili houses built in olden days before the 1950s and 1960s are still found in rural villages of East Godavari, West Godavari, Guntur, Nellore, Vijayanagaram, and Kadapa districts.
