Hyderabad-based Vasavi Group is undertaking new projects in all corners of the city and realising the dream of owning a home for the middle-class families. The Group started an affordable housing project in Bachupally and showed its uniqueness. Vasavi Group started its Vasavi Urban project after understanding the needs of the people and helped them realise their dream of owning a home. In fact, it can be said that this is the first of its kind in the affordable luxury project segment in the city. This is the reason why the company’s CMD Yerram Vijay Kumar received the Indian Achiever Award.
On this occasion, he spoke to REG News exclusively and said that with this award, the responsibility on him has increased. The project will be completed within the stipulated time. He said that the project which was aimed to fulfill the dream of owning a home for the middle-class people, was getting good response from the buyers. In all, 2,400 of the total 3,750 flats have been sold and only 50-60 flats are being sold per month due to lack of large stock. He said that the scheme launched to sell the rest of the flats was receiveing good response. While the construction of some towers has been completed, Vasavi Urban project will be ready by December 2024.
Vijay Kumar received the Indian Achiever award from Union Minister Nitin Gadkari at a function held at the NDMC Convention Center in New Delhi recently. The award was given for his outstanding services in the construction and real estate sector of India and for undertaking affordable housing projects under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
