The US Consulate office in Hyderabad will move into its new building soon. The building is under construction in Nanakramguda. The construction has come to the final phase. Once the building is completed, the US consul would be billed as the largest office among its offices in South Asia. Currently, the US Consulate office is being run from Paigah Palace. The US ambassador for India Elizabeth Jones said that the Consulate would move into its new building in the first half of the next year. The office is spread over an area of 12.2 acres. The cost of the execution of the building is put at Rs 2,429 crore. The new office building would have at least 54 Visa interview windows. Currently, the building woks have reached the last leg of execution. The US embassy shared the latest photos of the building recently.
