With Telangana’s announcement of the Future City in Mucherla, land prices in surrounding areas have surged. Real estate activity has intensified since Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s announcement, leading to gradual increases in property prices. Prices have risen by 20-30% in areas like Maheshwaram, Ibrahimpatnam, and Kalwakurthy.
In Mucherla’s vicinity, including Dasarlapally, Kadthal, Nedunoor, and Kandukur, land prices have increased significantly. The average price for one acre in Kandukur has jumped from Rs 1.5 crore to Rs 1.8 crore, while in Kadthal, it has risen from Rs 1.2 crore to Rs 1.5 crore.
In Amanagalm mandal, the price for one acre has gone up from ₹1 crore to between Rs 1.2 crore and Rs 1.5 crore, with high demand near the Srisailam Highway pushing prices up to ₹3 crore per acre. Residential plot prices have also surged, with rates in Kandukur rising from Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000-Rs 12,000 per square yard, and even higher, approximately Rs 20,000 near the Srisailam Highway. This price increase is drawing interest from middle-class families previously deterred by high costs.
