It is known that Hyderabad is developing at a fast pace; however, if the infrastructure facilities are not developed in a better way in the city, there is a danger that Hyderabad will become another Bengaluru in the coming days, opined Rajan Bandelkar, Chairman of NAREDCO. He was in the city recently to take part in the NAREDCO programme and told the Real Estate Guru that there is a need to strengthen the public transport system in Hyderabad. The government of Maharashtra has focused on the development of the public transport system. It has been revealed that the state government has spent Rs 3 lakh crore to develop infrastructure in Mumbai. He said that Japan’s JICA funds have been used for this purpose. He also expressed happiness that Naredco Silver Jubilee celebrations are being held in Hyderabad. Furthermore, he stressed that there is a need for skilled professionals in the construction sector. He said that the Prime Minister of India has set a target of net zero carbon by 2070.
