Sonoco Products Company (NYSE: SON), a global leader in sustainable packaging, has inaugurated its new permanent office for the Hyderabad Performance Hub, marking a major milestone in its expansion in India. Following the launch of its IT Performance Hub in February 2025, the company has now transitioned to a long-term facility, reinforcing its commitment to digital innovation and global capability building.
The Hyderabad hub has rapidly scaled to over 145 technology professionals who play a key role in Sonoco’s digital transformation efforts, including analytics, automation, and emerging technologies.
Building on this success, Sonoco announced plans to establish a Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) in Hyderabad to further strengthen its global business services footprint.
Sonoco President & CEO Howard Coker highlighted Hyderabad’s strong talent and innovation ecosystem as a key driver for continued investment. CIO Rajeev Ankireddypalli emphasized the new facility’s role in fostering collaboration and innovation, while Chief Accounting Officer Aditya Gandhi noted that the Finance CoE will enhance finance and analytical capabilities globally. Managing Director Arvind Chittora reaffirmed Sonoco’s long-term commitment to India and its people.
