Some builders from Hyderabad are now scouting for places to develop luxury projects in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities in Telangana. The reasons being increased construction cost in Hyderabad; other towns in Hyderabad growing faster and having facilities on par with Hyderabad; and also a sudden rise in demand for luxury projects in these cities. But Siddipet town has grabbed the attention of many builders, after four US-based companies signing the agreements with the State government to establish their offices in Siddipet even before the proposed IT Tower is completed. On examining the exact reasons that encouraged these IT companies to start their operations in Siddipet, some interesting facts came to light.
Siddipet has been making it to headlines from Telangana State in the Swachh Surveykshan rankings whenever the Centre is releasing the ranks. Undoubtedly, the credit should be given to Minister and local MLA T Harish Rao who has changed the face of this small town.
With the construction of irrigation projects like Kondapochamma Sagar, Ranganayaka Sagar and Mallanna Sagar, the demand for Siddipet has increased significantly. Komati Cheruvu tank and Suspension Bridge are some of the popular tourist attractions of the town. Due to many such factors, many Hyderabad-based construction companies are eager to build luxury apartments in Siddipet.
- Siddipet is just 100 km away from Hyderabad and one can have easy commute via Rajiv Rahadari.
- An IT tower is coming up at Duddeda near Rajiv Rahadari road where Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has already announced that a four-lane road will be developed between Duddeda and Siddipet.
- The State government allocated Rs 45 crore for construction of the IT Tower and upon its completion, at least 2,000 people will get employment.
- Infrastructure in Siddipet is developing significantly, with development projects being undertaken at an estimated cost of Rs 600 crore.
- Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao hopes to make Siddipet a model town in the country. Accordingly, the appearance of the town is being completely changed.
- About Rs 100 crore have been earmarked for tourism development. It has been announced that a convention center will be set up on the 65-acre Pallagutta Island in the middle of the Ranganayaka Sagar Reservoir.
- Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao himself was surprised to see the recent development of Komati Cheruvu tank and appreciated the employees for their efforts. An additional Rs 25 crore were sanctioned for LED lighting, walking track, road and other works.
- An integrated vegetable and meat market is being established along with an auditorium with a seating capacity of 2,000 people, on the lines of Gajwel.
- Literacy rate in Siddipet is around 78.48%. Hence, the urban people are keeping the city clean. Siddipet Municipality is making special efforts to maintain cleanliness and hygiene without pollution.
- The medians of the main roads have been developed pleasantly with greenary on par with Hyderabad.
Efforts on for a beautiful gated community project
Our survey revealed that Siddipet people want quality housing. Moreover, Minister Harish Rao is developing the area competing with Hyderabad. Due to his efforts, the city has received many national rankings indicating a better quality of living. Further, Siddipet is being beautifully developed and hence, many people are trying to invest in the town. Considering such positives, we are planning to build a project near Komati Cheruvu tank. We are planning to build luxury flats on almost an acre of land. Municipality approval has already been obtained.
