Protesters have alleged that the hillock in Khazaguda has been gradually disappearing on account of illegal encroachers and have put the blame on official machinery for what they said its failure to rein in the encroachers. They have sent a twitter message in this regard to Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao who directed special principal secretary to the department of municipal administration Arvind Kumar for taking necessary action.
Cases were registered against four encroachers of the hillock. The state government placed the concerned VRA under suspension. Security guards have been posted in the area to protect the hillock from encroachers. Arvind Kumar apprised the measures initiated to the minister in this regard.
