Famous cricketer Rohit Sharma’s father, Gurunath Sharma, has rented out their apartment in the Lower Parel area of Mumbai. The apartment is located on the 45th floor of the Lodha Marquis building, part of the Lodha Group’s “The Park” project. The flat covers an area of 1,298 square feet and has been rented out for Rs 2.60 lakh per month. The lease also includes two car parking spaces.
The rental agreement was registered on January 27, with Rs 16,300 paid as stamp duty and Rs 1,000 as registration fees. The apartment was leased to a person named Muraleekrishnan Nair. In July 2013, Rohit Sharma and his father Gurunath Sharma bought the apartment from Lodha Group for Rs 5.45 crore. Additionally, in January 2024, Rohit Sharma rented out two apartments in the Bandra West area of Mumbai for Rs 3 lakh per month each. According to the agreement, the rent for the first year will be Rs 3.1 lakh per month, Rs 3.25 lakh for the second year, and Rs 3.41 lakh for the third year.
