Rise in registrations

Registrations recorded more than last year in Hyderabad.

In the real estate sector, Hyderabad has shown improvement. This year, in the first four months alone, there have been a total of 26,027 registrations, indicating a positive trend. In comparison, during the same period last year, there were 22,632 registrations. This year, Night Frank India has released data showing a 15% increase compared to last year.

With 24,866 registrations in January-April 2022, this year has shown even more promising figures. Home purchases play a vital role in these statistics. Compared to last year, there has been an increase in the area covered by 3rd phase curtains, with home sizes increasing from 2% to 4%. Similarly, registrations from homes with 2nd phase curtains to 3rd phase curtains have increased from 8% to 11%. Homes with 1000 to 2000 square feet have seen an increase from 69% to 70%. Conversely, homes with a decrease in area have seen a reduction from 20% to 16%.

Homes with values ranging from Rs. 50 lakhs to crores have seen a decrease of 4% in the first four months of this year compared to last year. In 2023, there were 16,060 home registrations, while in 2024, there were 15,419 registrations. Registrations for homes valued at more than Rs. 1 crore saw a significant increase. In January-April 2023, there were 4,512 registrations, while in 2024, there were 6,649 registrations, marking a 47% increase. Similarly, registrations for homes valued at more than Rs. 1 crore saw an increase from 2,060 in 2023 to 3,959 in 2024, according to Night Frank’s report.
