The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) at Shamshabad, near Hyderabad, is acquiring more amenities for the benefit of the national and international travellers. The modernisation works of the airport are going to be completed by 2023. Because of the modernisation of the airport, more and more national and international aero planes land at airport.
If everything goes well, the modernisation works will be completed by 2023 so that over 3.4 crore commuters can land and take off from the airport. The airport is being provided an additional 149 check-in counters, 26 security screening machines, ATRs, 44 immigration counters. The new buildings at the airport will have modern lounges, retail and FB outlets, in all, 44 new contact gates, 28 remote departure gates, nine arrival gates will be made available. It would make easy the arrival of the commuters.

Secunderabad Cantonment Board has finalized the fee related to property transfer in tax register. Property owners have to pay Rs.2000 for mutation of the name in the property tax register and Rs.350 towards the publication fee.
