Real estate activity is booming in Greater Hyderabad. This surge is attributed to the substantial increase in revenue from registrations over the past seven months. According to official sources, the revenue from the registration of flats and buildings from December 2023 to June 2024 reached Rs 4,670.52 crore. This is Rs 241.29 crore more than the revenue from the previous seven-month period.
Compared to the revenue from December 2022 to June 2023, this amount is Rs 270.86 crore higher. During the past seven months, there have been 2,18,160 registrations, compared to 1,93,962 registrations in the same period the previous year. This year, so far, 54,111 flats have been registered, whereas during the same period last year, 50,535 flats were registered, marking a 7% increase.
Additionally, permits for new buildings are also on the rise. In the past seven months, 18,077 building permits were issued within the GHMC and HMDA jurisdictions.
