Registrations in the state are experiencing a decline. For the third consecutive month, registrations have not occurred as expected. Recently, registrations dropped in October. Compared to last October, there has been a revenue decrease of Rs 140 crore. Registration activities have slowed down not only in Hyderabad but across all districts in the state. Approximately 12,000 transactions have decreased this October compared to last year.
Statistics reveal that while there were a total of 91,619 registration transactions last October, only 79,562 documents were registered this year. Looking at district-wise data, in Rangareddy, there was a revenue drop of Rs 94 crores this October compared to last year. Although many believe that the primary reason for the decline in registrations is due to the demolition of properties in Hyderabad, some comment that the overall real estate situation in the country is not good, which has led to a decrease in sales.
