Regina Cassandra is an avid lover of customized furniture!

Residential properties are valuable assets. To keep her dream home idea intact, Tollywood actress Regina Cassandra chooses custom furnishing by adding a few fashionable items that can enhance her home decor. That’s how she rolls!

She finds it crucial to focus on each aspect to be perfect. She has even done wonders in her current residence — from the walls to the furnishings to the flooring. She shares with us, “When I think of my childhood memories from the first ever house that I ever lived in, I can only think of the time I have spent with my cats there. And, I am extremely fond of green spaces! When you make your house more sustainable & green, you are making a contribution to improving the environment. It’s like marrying the plant-life. Even more than that, it creates a healthier environment for yourself, your family and pets. I am a flag-bearer of upcycling! I have a habit of storing paper bags & re-using them. By building a sustainable house I want to reduce waste& increase reliability over the lifespan of the home.”

A firm believer of minimalistic furniture, Regina is also not untouched by a sweeping lifestyle trend like minimalism. She very well knows how to reconcile the natural zest of her culture with a basic style of minimalism! She continues, “I like art-work so much. And i prefer incapsulating my hard-earned money on customised furniture in an apartment because I like to be surrounded by people. If there are no people in pandemic times like these, what will I even do with a bunglow on my name? Usually, you’ll see me passing my time in my hall which is my most favourite corner to spend time at.” She’s so fond of custom made furnishings that once she spotted something unique at the Nicobar islands & in an instant she got the same piece made!

Additionally, she has a massive dining table made purely of mango wood in which a whole tree trunk was used. “It’s all about efforts and creativity. There should be stress on creating warmth with decor. I also love preserving things be it memories, heirlooms or furniture without going against the core of minimalism. Chennai is where I was born and brought up, so there can never be another place where I would like to re-locate. And, Hyderabad can be a second home to it. The corners in the home shouldn’t scare you, they must instead radiate peace and that’s so important in a dream home,” she adds.
