In a major step towards improving ease of doing business in the real estate sector, the Telangana Government has introduced a new “Builder Module” in the user module of the Registration Department, aimed at streamlining property registrations for builders and their customers.
This new system is designed to ensure faster, more transparent, and more accurate registrations, particularly for large developers handling multiple units.
Key Features
-
Group Slot Booking: Builders can now book slots for multiple registrations at once — eliminating the need for repetitive individual bookings.
-
Fast Processing: Officials report that with this module, even bulk registrations are being completed in as little as 10 minutes.
-
Simplified Documentation & Higher Accuracy: The fully digital workflow minimizes manual intervention and reduces document errors.
-
Greater Transparency: The system ensures transparency for both developers and home buyers.
-
Integration with “Built Now” App: The module complements the “Built Now” app under the BuildNow unified approval system — strengthening the government’s technology-driven approach for building plan approvals.
Builders can register their companies and book registration slots online through the official website: registration.telangana.gov.in
Early Adoption and Industry Response
The new Builder Module was successfully operated at the Shankarpalli Sub-Registrar Office, where Mr. Basit Khan, Vice President of West Zone Builders Association, completed five registrations using the system.
Nikhila Constructions & Developers (NCD) became the first real estate company in Telangana to officially register and utilize the new module. The West Zone Builders Association has welcomed this initiative and is appealing to all builders to register, adopt this system, and benefit from faster turnaround time and enhanced accuracy.
With Telangana emerging as a leading real estate destination, this reform is expected to significantly simplify the registration experience, benefiting both builders and home buyers.
