With the instructions of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the plans for the second phase of Hyderabad Metro Rail have been finalised. A new route map has been prepared for this. A new route has been designed to make metro connectivity reach more people at a lower cost. The government’s aim is to make metro rail services accessible to all by increasing connectivity on all routes in Hyderabad.
Hyderabad Metro currently has 69 km available in three corridors. There is connectivity from Miyapur to LB Nagar, JBS to MGBS, and Nagole to Raidurgam. Phase 2 expansion will extend the second corridor from Secunderabad Jubilee Bus Station to MGBS to Chandrayanagutta Cross Road.
