Former Maharashtra Chief Secretary Manoj Saunik has been appointed as the new Chairman of Maha RERA (Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority). The current Chairman, Ajoy Mehta, an IAS officer from the 1984 batch, will retire on September 20 of this year. He has been serving as the RERA Chairman since February 2021.
Following his retirement, Manoj Saunik will take over the responsibilities. The Maharashtra government has recently issued the official notification regarding this appointment. Manoj Saunik, an IAS officer from the 1987 batch, is the husband of Sujata Saunik, the current Chief Secretary of Maharashtra.
