The manoeuvres of the Revanth government in the matter of land acquisition are becoming a bit of a controversy. The fact that he is showing love to some and harshness to others has become the main topic of discussion in real estate circles. Recently, the Congress government took action against the encroachment of ponds by former minister Malla Reddy and his son-in-law, Rajasekhar Reddy, under the guise of educational institutions. They started demolishing one after the other within a week. At the same time, these two MLAs from BRS entered into negotiations with CM Revanth. If this is not a political game, why is action not being taken against the Dream Valley organisation, which is doing illegal construction on GO 111 land?
It is known that a company called Dream Valley is managing the Dream Valley Resort in the GO 111 area. The company has taken a step forward as it is getting significant revenue from the illegally built resort. Having already reached an agreement with government officials, it embarked on another huge plan. A high-end luxury villa community called Imagine is being illegally constructed at the back of the resort. A look at the Imagine Villa Community brochure is sure to impress anyone. In this way, each villa is being built on about fifteen thousand square feet. Executives say the price is Rs. 15,000 per square feet. That is, the price is around Rs. 22.50 crore per villa. HMDA already has complete data on this.
The government, which is demolishing the structures of the educational institutions built after encroaching on a pond, is turning a blind eye to Dream Valley, which is being constructed in violation of the rules. The owner of the construction company has close relations not only with the previous government but also with the Congress government. That is why the Revanth government, which is targeting ex-minister Mallareddy from a political point of view, is not keeping an eye on the villas being constructed in violation of GO 111. Now, if Malla Reddy and his son-in-law Rajasekhara Reddy join Congress and if their relationship with the head of Dream Valley is strengthened, then it’s an end to the demolition of illegal construction. If Marri Rajasekhar Reddy joins the Congress, leading to a full stop in the demolition of illegal structures, there is a risk that Revanth Reddy will become unpopular and corrupt in Telugu-speaking states.
