Hyderabad slips to 3rd position in office space

Hyderabad: The city slipped to third position in terms of demand for the office space. The first half of 2021, at least 69 leases were transacted for office space in Bangalore, Delhi and the national capital region and Mumbai, according to a survey conducted by an international agency called Savills.

During January-June period of this year, 10.9 million sq ft office space was leased out, which is 38 per cent more compared to the office space leased out during the corresponding period last year. In Bangalore, 41 lakh sq ft of office space was leased out to several companies, followed by the National Capital Region of Delhi (20 lakh sq ft) and Mumbai and Hyderabad (14 lakh sq ft each)
