Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Boman Irani following his election as the President-Elect of CREDAI India. In his message, the Prime Minister said: “Your association with CREDAI has been very strong for the past few years and I am sure it will continue in the years to come.”

He opined that housing and construction sector is one of the most important sectors in Indian economy, forming the foundation for India’s growth. He described that home is not just four walls, but a place where dreams become reality and aspirations come true. On this occasion, the Prime Minister explained that his government took many steps to strengthen and reform the real estate and housing sector in the last nine years.

He said that crores of people have been empowered by ensuring them own houses and giving priority to affordable houses, with the vision of “Housing for All”.

Amrit Ka Van is an opportunity to build a new India, he said, adding that the role of organisations like CREDAI has become more relevant in this context. Modi said CREDAI is expected to focus on promoting transparency, sustainability and green construction technologies in the realty sector. In a letter to Boman Irani, the Prime Minister hoped that he would work hard to help CREDAI make a more meaningful contribution to the country’s progress.
