In the controversial Heera Gold scandal, the Enforcement Directorate attached properties worth Rs 78 crore belonging to SA Builders and Developers and Neelanchal Technocrats. Nauheera Shaik of Heera Group transferred Rs 148 crore to SA Builders to purchase properties in Tolichowki area of Hyderabad. Spending Rs 70 crore, properties have been acquired.
The balance of Rs 78 crore was still with the SA Builders, according to ED observation. But the SA Builders transferred Rs 41 crore to Neelanchal Techcrats Private Limited and to four other companies in Shillong and Kolkata. Again the amount was transferred to another real estate firm Salarpuria Sattva. In this backdrop, the ED on Nov 7 conducted raids on these companies and attached properties worth Rs 78 crore. In the process, it also attached properties of SA Builders and Neelanchal Technocrats.
