The GAP Group has commenced work on Hyatt Place Dholera, a proposed five-star hotel being developed in partnership with Hyatt. This brings international hospitality infrastructure to the Dholera Special Investment Region (SIR).
Located along the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, Dholera is being developed as a smart industrial city. The Ahmedabad-Dholera Expressway and proposed international airport are expected to improve regional connectivity.
The hotel will feature 200 rooms, including 20 suites, across approximately 2.6 lakh sq. ft. of built-up area.
Rising about 65 metres, the development will include two basement levels, a restaurant, banquet hall, business meeting facilities, swimming pool, gym, café and lounge.
Its banquet and pre-function spaces, along with an outdoor lawn, will accommodate around 500 people, making the property suitable for corporate meetings, conferences and social events.
Sonale Zagade, General Manager at Hyatt Group, unveiled the hotel’s finalised design at the groundbreaking ceremony, attended by former Gujarat Cabinet Minister Bhupendra Singh Chudasama and Dhandhuka MLA Kalubhai Dabhi.
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel also visited GAP Group’s Akhilam Township and reviewed the Hyatt Place Dholera site and other developments.
Gopal Goswami, Chairman of GAP Group, said the hotel would help meet the growing hospitality needs of investors, business travellers and visitors as Dholera expands.
Managing Director Ambrish Parajiya said the group plans to invest ₹2,500 crore in Dholera by 2030 across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
