The Telangana government has taken significant steps towards the construction of the prestigious Future City. The objective of the Revanth Government is to develop the Fourth City over a total area of 765.28 square kilometers. Areas including Maheshwaram, Ameenpur, Kadthal, Kandukuru, Ibrahimpatnam, Yacharam, and Manchal mandals will be included within the Future City limits.Future City Development Authority commissioner to be appointed soon The Telangana government has set up the Future City Development Authority (F.C.D.A.) for the 56 villages in these 7 mandals. Under this, 2 villages from Ameenpur, 2 villages from Maheshwaram, 3 villages from Manchal, 8 villages from Ibrahimpatnam, 6 villages from Kadthal, 17 villages from Yacharam, and 18 villages from Kandukuru, with cabinet approval, will now fall within the Future City limits.
The Telangana government is set to appoint a young and dynamic IAS officer as the Future City Development Authority (FCDA) Commissioner. It is believed that the names of IAS officers K. Shashank, Dr. S. Harish, and B. Gopi are under consideration for the post. Reliable sources indicate that one of these officers will be appointed as the FCDA Commissioner.

According to officials, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is making efforts to finalize the appointment within a week. The cabinet has approved 90 new posts for the FCDA. Of these, 34 will be regular posts, while the remaining 56 will be filled through outsourcing. Once the appointment of the FCDA Commissioner is finalized, the construction of the Future City is expected to gain significant momentum.
The construction of the Young India Skill University in Future City has already begun, and the work is progressing smoothly. Furthermore, the Telangana government is making arrangements to lay the foundation for the Artificial Intelligence City next month. Simultaneously, plans have been made for the construction of Greenfield Radial Roads to connect all areas of the Future City. On the other hand, the Telangana government has accelerated the process of establishing various national and international organisations in the Future City. The Revanth government is moving forward with a well-structured plan to bring the Future City to shape over the next four years. In this process, real estate is gradually picking up momentum in the area, according to realty sources.
