Another huge sale took place in the national capital, Delhi. A flat in The Camellias, which is being built by leading construction company DLF on Golf Course Road in Gurugram, has been sold for Rs 95 crore. The 10,813-square-feet flat was bought by Smiti Agarwal, wife of Hemant Agarwal, CMD of V Bazaar Retail Pvt. Ltd., an NRI from Singapore. She is currently the director of West Bock Lifetime Private Limited. About Rs 4.75 crore was paid under stamp duty for the registration of this property.
The deal comes with a 10,813-square-foot flat along with five car parking slots. Meanwhile, many real estate experts believe that with this deal, the difference in property prices in Delhi and Gurugram has been reduced. Last year, an 11,000-square-foot flat in the same project was sold for Rs 114 crore. Similarly, DLF’s bare-shell luxury housing unit in Camellias was sold at Rs 22,500 per sq ft in 2014.
