Two companies have been served notices for constructing apartment complexes without proper permissions.Another company has been issued notices for violating privacy rights in advertisements.Former cricketer Yuvraj Singh has sent legal notices to two real estate companies for different reasons. Along with allegations of unauthorized construction in designated areas and creating apartments without necessary permissions, Yuvraj has also sent notices to two companies for violating his privacy rights in their construction project advertisements. Recently, Rajvanshi & Associates, a company based in Delhi, received these notices from Yuvraj.
Yuvraj’s notices mention the completion of projects in a predetermined time frame, but he alleges that flats were handed over without fulfilling certain quality and construction standards, along with reasons like structural defects. He questions why apartments without proper permissions were provided. Brilliant Etoile Private Limited and Uppal Housing Private Limited, both companies involved in projects in Delhi’s Hauz Khas, had booked units in Yuvraj’s project in 2020. However, controversies arose from this. Not only did he send notices to these companies, but Yuvraj also sent another notice to Brilliant Etoile Private Limited, accusing them of breaching his personal privacy by conducting activities that disrupt his personal privacy. The contract with that company ended on November 23, 2023, yet they continued to use his name and photos on social media, which Yuvraj objected to, claiming misuse of his brand value and violation of personal and copyright rights.
