In view of the spurt in the number of Omicron cases in the country, CREDAI of the National Capital Region has initiated measures to get the construction workers vaccinated against Covid-19 free of cost. To save over 5000 construction workers and their families from the pandemic, it decided to get them vaccinated free of cost. It made arrangements to reach the target by March 15.
It launched the special vaccination drive in association with Narayana Super specialty Hospital, HT Parekh Foundation and HDFC Capital. In Sector 89 of Gurgaon, the vaccination drive has been launched at Marigold project, the CREDAI said in a statement.
As part of the drive, Covishield first or second dose will be administered at various construction sites in Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad. CREDAI-NCR region chairman Pankaj Bajaj said that the CREDAI has been extending its cooperation to free the country from the pandemic.
