The Greenfield Radial Road (Ratan Tata Road) will serve as a vital link between Outer Ring Road (ORR) and Regional Ring Road (RRR) for facilitating smooth and efficient transportation across key developmental zones, including Skill City and Future City. It is designed to significantly improve connectivity for businesses, commuters, and residents in these developing urban centers

The Government of Telangana has entrusted the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority / Hyderabad Growth Corridor Limited with the task of constructing the Greenfield Radial Road (Ratan Tata Road), which will link Tata Interchange (Raviryal) on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) to the Regional Ring Road (RRR) at Amangal. The project will be executed in two separate packages: Phase -I and Phase-II. The roads is passing through 6 mandals i.e Maheshwaram, IbrahimPatnam, Kandukur, Yacharam, Kadthal, Amangal of Ranga Reddy District covering 14 villages.

The salient features are as follows:

  • Length : 41.50 Km
    • Phase –I : (from ORR @ Raviryal (TATA Interchange) to Meerkhanpet) – 19.2 Km
      • Project cost: Rs. 1665 Crores
  • Phase – II (from Meerkhanpet to RRR @ Amangal) – 22.30 Km
    • Project cost: Rs. 2365 Crores
  • Width of ROW : 100m (Access controlled Expressway)
    • 3+3 six lane Main carriageway with a provision for future 4+4 Eight lane widening
    • 20 m land width reserved for Metro/railway corridor in the central median with 2+ 2 mts Greenery.
    • 3 lane service roads on either side
    • 2m wide greenbelt on either sides
    • 3m wide cycle track on either sides
    • 2m wide footpath on either sides
    • 2m wide utility corridor on either sides

Tender Submission:

HMDA/HGCL invites bids from reputed agencies/bidders for undertaking the project of Greenfield Radial Road under the following packages:

  • Phase 1: Tata Interchange (Raviryal) to Meerkhanpet (19.20 km)
  • Phase 2: Meerkhanpet to RRR at Amangal (22.30 km)

Detailed tender documents, including technical specifications, scope of work, and terms & conditions, will be available on the e-procurement platform (www.tender.telangana.gov.in) and the HMDA official website starting from 28.02.2025 and the technical bids will be opened on 21.03.2025. This project marks a significant step toward enhancing the infrastructure and connectivity of Skill City, Future City, and Fourth City.
