The Telangana RERA has taken strict action against a construction company for violating the apartment project construction plan and regulations. Construction company fined for plan violation The company has been fined Rs 10.6 lakh. The Flat Owners Cooperative Maintenance Society filed a complaint, stating that the apartment in Nizampet was built in violation of the approved project plan, with changes made to the original plan. They also alleged that the promised amenities were not provided. The complaint mentioned that when the flats were purchased, the developers had promised to provide a 60,000 square-foot clubhouse, a supermarket, a local commercial area, guest rooms, a function hall, a gym, and a yoga center.
However, the society members were later blocked from accessing the amenities block, with a wall built around it. Additionally, the greenery in front of the amenities block was removed. The complaint also revealed that the developer tried to sell parts of the clubhouse to third parties, which was in violation of the HMDA regulations.

After an investigation, TG RERA ordered that the fine be paid to the TG RERA Fund within 30 days. It directed the developers to provide society members access to the clubhouse and remove the wall that was built. It also instructed that solar lighting and a solar water heating system, as per regulations, be installed in the high-rise buildings and that construction must proceed according to the approved plan.
