Renowned writer Chetan Bhagat bought a brand new designer flat in Westend area of South Delhi at a cost of Rs 11.6 crore. The flat has four bedrooms. His flat is located on the second floor of the two-storey apartment complex. Registration of the property was done on June 24. The author spent Rs 70 lakh to get the property registered. The size of the flat is put at 410 square meters.
The 4-BHK flat was built on an area of 270 square meter site. The building has a basement, ground, first and second floors. The land share of the building would be 30 per cent of the total landed area. When contacted, Chetan Bhagat refused to speak on the matter.
