Builders who hold significant respect and status in society sometimes act foolishly in certain situations. During the construction of an apartment, developers who initially communicate well with buyers may end up creating some issues regarding the amenities that should be provided to buyers. For instance, in a project in Bachupally by Praneeth Developers, the owner attempted to use an extra floor in the clubhouse, which was meant for buyers, as his office. This led to strong protests from the residents of that building. Recently, buyers protested on Sunday against another builder who is behaving similarly. Here are the details:
P. Nagaraju, the head of Nagarjuna Homes based in Hyderabad, constructed an apartment complex called Nagarjuna Dreamland in Kompally. Initially, buyers thought that living there would be smooth and that their children would enjoy modern amenities. A total of 280 families have already settled in the six blocks of the complex. However, during the sale of the flats, promises were made that additional amenities such as a supermarket, gym, salon, swimming pool, and clubhouse would be available within the community. Unfortunately, these promises have not been fulfilled. For reasons unknown — whether due to financial loss or other factors — Nagarjuna Dreamland has not provided the promised modern amenities for several years.
All amenities, including the supermarket, have been completely shut down and left unused. Attempts were made to use the clubhouse as a warehouse. Despite objections from apartment representatives, Nagaraju has stubbornly refused to change his stance. He is dealing with homebuyers in a confrontational manner. Efforts were made to store goods and other materials in the clubhouse. Despite the community members’ efforts to resolve this issue, builder Nagaraju continues to act negligently. In protest against his obstinate attitude, all the families living in the apartments came together and staged a protest on Sunday, demanding the establishment of a clubhouse.
Although Nagaraju was informed a week ago, he ignored the meeting at the last moment. This has only increased the doubts of the Dreamland community members and homebuyers about him. All the members of the community gathered and stated that they are exploring legal options to resolve this issue. They have urged Nagaraju, who holds status and respect in society, to act responsibly and cooperate to resolve the problem. The representatives of the Nagarjuna Dreamland management issued a statement calling on Nagaraju to address the issue with dignity and cooperation.
