Beccun Lifestyle provides relief to buyers

Developer under control to ensure buyers’ rights are not affected
Telangana RERA issues orders

Telangana RERA has granted relief to the buyers of flats in the Beccun Lifestyle project in Kompally. RERA issued interim orders to restrict Beccun Infrastructure from participating in transactions that could affect third-party interests or the rights of flat buyers. The orders will remain in effect until further notice.

This decision was taken after examining a complaint filed by the Beccun Lifestyle Cultural Association, which alleged delays in project completion and unauthorised construction. The association highlighted that while the builder had approval for four blocks, each with a maximum of seven floors, they had sold units up to nine floors and added two extra blocks without permission.

The complaint also stated that the builder currently lacks the necessary funds to complete the project, raising concerns about the usage of funds collected from buyers and the transfer of those funds. Despite repeated attempts to engage in discussions and meetings with the builder, no positive outcome was achieved.

After hearing the arguments, RERA noted that Beccun Infrastructure requested additional time to file a counter, but failed to provide adequate justification against issuing interim orders. Therefore, RERA issued these orders to prevent any actions that could negatively impact the rights of the flat buyers.
