Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy tells at the NAREDCO Telangana Property Show

The NAREDCO Telangana Property Show commenced with grandeur.

Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy stated that projects with approvals from GHMC and HMDA will not face any issues. Speaking as the chief guest at the NAREDCO Telangana Property Show, he emphasised that the state government stands firmly behind the construction sector. He noted that builders are partners in the development of Hyderabad and highlighted the need for collaboration between the government and builders to transform Hyderabad into a global city. He assured that the state government will make significant efforts to address the challenges faced by the construction industry.

He suggested that all associations in the Telangana construction sector come together to form a steering committee. By preparing a list of the challenges faced by the industry, the committee could meet once or twice a month to work on resolving these issues. He assured that customers and bankers need not worry and urged builders to focus confidently on their construction projects. He mentioned that he cancelled a major event in Delhi to attend the NAREDCO Property Show, emphasising the hard work the construction sector has put into developing Hyderabad.

He noted that the Outer Ring Road (ORR) was completed by the previous Congress government and assured that they would also complete the Regional Ring Road (RRR). He stated that they would expedite the completion of radial roads and metro rail from ORR to RRR. He pledged to ensure there is no shortage of clean water and to develop Hyderabad as a global destination with futuristic projects like a world-class skill university and a sports university. He also mentioned that they would address issues under the “Ease of Doing Business” initiative.

He mentioned that he was born and raised in Hyderabad and that they had agricultural land in Panjagutta. He described real estate as a growth engine for urban development, noting that 80% of the state’s revenue comes from this sector. He emphasised the commitment to providing world-class infrastructure and improved safety, stating that they would work to enhance the development of the real estate sector. After visiting each stall, he found that sales were performing well. He characterised the Congress government as proactive, interactive, friendly, democratic, and business-friendly, and expressed their intent to elevate Hyderabad to the next level alongside builders.

NAREDCO Telangana President Vijay Sai Meka remarked that Hyderabad is achieving remarkable development, and the real estate sector is reaping the benefits. He highlighted the ongoing development of infrastructure and improved connectivity, stating there is no better time to invest in Hyderabad. Secretary General K. Sridhar Reddy noted that all properties showcased at the property show are RERA-certified, ensuring transparency and reliability in every investment decision. Other attendees included NAREDCO Telangana Executive Vice Presidents Kali Prasad Damera, Dr. Y. Kiron, and Treasurer R. Venkateswara Rao.
