All-white space have a serious swooning factor

Ankita Lokhande’s white walls are looking clean and classic, & with the right styling, without getting boring. A blend of a little boho & minimalist — her all-white space have serious swoon-factor. Self professed minimalists that is Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain, they just loved the white backdrop for every room. Its actually impossible to go wrong with a white decor. Actress expresses,

“Doing up my new home after my marriage was always that something I dreamt of. It was all about the details! Going to build a life together in that home so it had to be perfect. I wanted it to be a reflection of us as a couple. Definitely incorporated those elements that shone bright as our personalities are. I didn’t ape trends blindly, rather preferred a personal touch.” The house is an 8 BHK converted into a 5 BHK home, with ultra spacious rooms.

Interestingly, the couple has coined a name for their house. The two call their home sweet home a white house. And, “Interiors only include the white colour in every corner. From walls to artefacts, or be it accessories and embellishments — everything in my house is pure white. While we were house hunting we found this home at the 19th floor of a building & interestingly it was in the A wing. So then formed a connect: A for Ankita and 19th stands for my birthday. It was actually my husband’s idea. That’s how we sealed the deal for this abode.”

Lokhande is very happy with the new space, she says she gets tired of walking around the house from one room to another. She made a interesting comment too that she must have gained a little more kilos because of this. She continued, “Equipped with the latest equipment and facilities, my house also gives a beautiful view of the Mumbai skyline. Located in a high-rise building it comes with a massive deck with wooden flooring, a sitting area and a LED sign.
Our white-hued living room with matching white marble flooring featuring a round couch with white cushions is the highlight for me.” There is a flower-shaped white centre table with statement glass vases and a white-hued fuzzy rug adding more charm to their living room. The room was divided with a french-themed glass wall and sheer curtains. However, it was the modern jhoomar that accentuated the beauty of the couple’s home and there’s lots more it that we can’t keep gushing on.
