Adnan Sami’s dream home is close to his heart

Adnan Sami’s luxurious space is inviting, and the color palette is actually something that established the atmosphere. With this in mind, he complementary tones. The home accents work together harmoniously above all. So, it’s definitely worth knowing about his home. That’s also because the hues he has chosen works with every style and have an enduring appeal. “The home is very close to my heart. I spent all my quality time with wife Roya Sami Khan and daughter. The home features a separate gaming zone as my daughter loves to play with joysticks. You can also see photographs of various celebrity singers and actors with me hanging on the wall that’s the memory wall.”

The idea of a luxury living house can look very different in the imagination of one person to the next. But Adnan Sami had a clear idea — the dream luxury lounge should be a modern space surrounded by huge expanses of glass, with linear sofas and beautiful accent chairs. “My house screams elegance and the minimalist furniture with accessories focus on functionality and practicality. The abode also houses a separate music room where I play instruments. Sometimes I also entertain my guests by playing the piano at home. I also love to read books and you will find various books on the shelves of my living area.”

White is more than a colour for him—it is a sublime mood. Taking over the character of peace and tranquillity, the white mood board in interiors that he has essentially adapted to have become a part of the minimalist trends of his life.

“Roya and I have seen a very modern as well as a very classic kind of architecture. We both wanted to have a home that reflected our modern outlook as well as have a certain classic feel.” The three-storied apartment sprawls across of 10,000 square feet of luxury housing furniture by Armani Versache, Fendi, Natuzzi, kitchen by Gaggenau and the latest. “We have also implied aristocratic background that I belong to, there are so many modern touches. But the decor is also classic! Like if you see my entrance, it has an hand-crafted inlay work on marble with semi-precious stones & pearl.”

He actually loves the classic marble inlay work of Agra. So for that he got traditional artisans, after one and a half years of hardwork to get just the floor work at home completed.

“The wall at the entrance is covered with a calligraphic painting that has inscriptions of Quran. We are also very fond of Persian carpets, there are many that you’ll find in our home. The lobby wall has white embossed wallpaper with clusters of pictures of us in all moods & the frames of original gold records & a music memorabilia.” A large etched glass sliding door opens into the living room that has four areas – one where the grand piano stands; one has a large dining table, one has a small bar, and another has two sets of sofas. Adnan’s piano is very dear to him and he says, “When I got the structure of the house I knew where I wanted my piano to be and we designed everything around it.” Adnan’s bedroom is what romantic fairy tales are made of. An Armani bed with flowing exquisite lace curtains around it, lights of all kinds that change the mood of the room a work area fitted out with a keyboard, karaoke, computer, and what not.
