A lot of my decor inferences are inspired by the Bigg Boss show: SUBHASHREE RAYAGARU

Post her stint on the Bigg Boss Telugu 7 show SUBHASHREE RAYAGARU has her digital footprint so active. The obvious choice for our dream home segment, right? What’s special that we discovered during the telephonic interaction was how the bond between her father and her in the childhood residence made it a fond memory for her to recall. She was emotional! Her father, who is an advocate, made the upcoming celebrity actress in the South see multiple houses across countries for the transfers she has seen.

Now that we have piqued quite a lot of interest, let’s check out what she boasts about when it comes to her feelings about having a dream home. “Minimalism decor is not me—lavishness has always attracted me. My audience just can’t expect simplicity from me because it’s boring. Dude, I follow in Raveer Singh’s footsteps, so I’d certainly be full of vim and vigour even when it comes to the decor of my house. Not always a minimal house can be nice; if at all done with a good colour palette, go ahead.

I love colors.” She gives us an example! Calling to her mind, the popular television host who has done over three thousand shows for the twin states described, “Bigg Boss’s set, whether in Telugu or Hindi, is my kind of home. They bring a colourful vibe! I like the way makers always try different themes. The show made me realise there are so many colours and how beautiful they can be. Whenever there is an announcement about a show, the first thing to do is check: How is it looking this time?

Leading to a growing curiosity, we were wondering how she has decorated her current home in the Gachibowli area, to which she reminisces along with us: “I want to do my bit for the planet, so I always go for green alternatives. Next, I love to fill my houses with a bunch of roses and tulips at every corner. It’s a way of decorating! I am going to get my bedroom painted in a royal blue colour soon, with a touch of velvet. Golden statement pieces can top them. My inferences are a lot taken from Bigg Boss House, which has affected me so deeply. I hate patterns on the walls, by the way! No psychedelic vibes in my house, please.”

Is she interested in a villa or a flat? Let’s find out! The anchor revealed, “A fun fact: I am into real estate myself, so with all the adequate knowledge I acquire, I prefer a villa. Tattva is one of our ventures, involved in marketing, sales, and land acquisitions. Soon we will be the builders on board. So floorplanning is interesting for me! Villas can always be your vacation spots, and I would want the centric part of them to be totally Telugu style, in spite of being an Oriya. In fact, glass ceilings and glass doors attract me a lot.”

What further set her apart was the idea of buying a beach house by the shack someday in GOA. She daydreams about Goa! Of the sea, sunshine, sand, and the pinacoladas. That vision has taken centre stage whenever she thinks of her dream home. Moreover, what’s interesting? “It’s Srikanth Addala’s home near the Ramanaidu Studios that has encapsulated me a lot. We were called for our movie promotion, and the intimate vibe of the house with a sprawling balcony immediately caught my attention. I was so happy to do my movie promotions there in Hyderabad.”On a parting note, the diverse persona added, “The latest news of one acre of land that got sold for a hundred crores swelled my chest with pride. Hyderabad is going to be the next Singapore soon. I know the demography very well; I am involved in the land planning, so I know it’s only going to expand here. Our state is nothing like the other metropolitan cities.”
