Many illegal constructions in Ayyappa Society

HYDRA has once again taken action against illegal constructions in Hyderabad. The building constructed without permits in Ayyappa Society, Madhapur, was demolished. HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath mentioned that nearly all constructions in Ayyappa Society are illegal, and actions will be taken against them soon. He also warned that officials who have granted permits for illegal constructions will face consequences. As a result, the future of hundreds of constructions in Ayyappa Society has now become uncertain.

HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath revealed sensational details regarding the demolitions in Ayyappa Society, Madhapur, Hyderabad. He stated that the High Court had ordered the GHMC to demolish an illegal building in Ayyappa Society. Ranganath mentioned that while some holes were previously made on the slab, the builder had sealed them and constructed a seven-story illegal building. He expressed concern over this serious violation. A contempt petition has been filed in the High Court, which is currently under investigation. Ranganath further stated that nearly all constructions in Ayyappa Society are illegal, and a report will be submitted against the officials responsible for allowing the illegal construction of the demolished building. He also mentioned that action will be recommended to the government against the concerned officials. He pointed out that several hostels are being built within these illegal buildings.

HYDRA Commissioner Ranganath stated that many buildings in Ayyappa Society were constructed without fire safety measures and building permits, housing thousands of students and employees. During his inspection of the area, he observed instances of drainage water flowing on the roads. He mentioned that he reviewed the matter with the GHMC Commissioner and emphasised that strict actions would be taken against the mushrooming illegal constructions. Ranganath also announced that, starting from now, every Monday, complaints and suggestions from the citizens of Hyderabad will be accepted. Complaints will be received at the HYDRA office in Buddha Bhavan from 11 AM to 2 PM in the morning and again from 3 PM to 5 PM in the evening, he confirmed.
