Maharashtra RERA said that out of nearly 7,000 stalled projects in Maharashtra, 4,000 projects have been completed so far. It also revealed that the process of deregistering 15 percent of the projects has been initiated. To this extent, the details have been submitted to the central RERA sub-committee. Maha RERA has set up self-regulatory organisations (NROs) with representatives of the Real Estate Developers Association to mediate between buyers in cases of complaints against developers and complete stalled projects. Later, it reported to the central government subcommittee on the 19th of last month that 4,000 projects were successfully completed last year through coordination and meetings with SRO. Out of 7000 projects, 4000 have been completed, while 15% of the projects without any progress have started the process of deregistration. It is also said that the focus is on completing the remaining 30 percent of the projects, where 70 percent of the work has already been completed.
