26 companies achieve Rs 35,000 crore sales in Q2

26 major listed real estate companies in India achieved Rs. 35,000 crore in property sales during the second quarter. Godrej Properties led the sales, with a significant portion of the sales being pre-sale bookings in the residential segment.

For the July-September quarter, Godrej Properties became the largest listed player with pre-sale bookings worth Rs. 5,198 crore. Mumbai-based Macrotech Developers Limited, selling properties under the Lodha brand, secured second place with Rs. 4,290 crore in sales. Delhi-based Max Estates sold Rs. 4,100 crore worth of properties, while Bengaluru-based Prestige Estates Projects Limited recorded Rs. 4,022.6 crore in sales bookings.

Delhi-based Signature Global registered Rs. 2,780 crore in sales in Q2. DLF Limited, the largest real estate company in terms of market capitalisation, had a decline in sales bookings to Rs. 692 crore, as it did not launch any new housing projects during this period.

Other notable companies include Brigade Enterprises Limited (Bengaluru) with Rs. 1,821 crore in sales, Oberoi Realty (Mumbai) with Rs. 1,442.46 crore in pre-sales, Aditya Birla Real Estate (Mumbai) with Rs. 1,412 crore in sales, Puravankara Limited (Bengaluru) with Rs. 1,331 crore, and Sobha Limited with Rs. 1,178.5 crore in sales.

Delhi-based TarC Limited achieved Rs. 1,012 crore in pre-sales, Pune’s Kolte-Patil Developers Limited recorded Rs. 770 crore in sales, and Mumbai’s Keystone Realtors (Rustonji brand) had Rs. 700 crore in pre-sales. Delhi’s Ashiana Housing Limited registered Rs. 673 crore in sales, while Bengaluru’s Sriram Properties recorded Rs. 568 crore in pre-sales.
