111 GO areas in new city limits

What the Telangana government has cleverly done is bring several villages that fall under the 111 GO limits into the newly established Hyderabad Metropolitan Region. For example, areas like Bakkaram, Kethireddipally, Aziznagar, Chilukuru, and Kanakamamidi, which fall under the Moinabad limits, and areas like Choudriguda and Gandiguda under Shamshabad, have now been brought into the new limits. So, what’s the underlying implication of merging these 84 villages into the new city?

A heated discussion is ongoing about whether official permission will be granted to build houses in the newly included areas under the 111 GO limits, or whether the existing ban will continue. It is well known that the previous government had announced plans to create a master plan for the 1,52,000 acres that fall under the 111 GO limits. The question now is whether the Congress government will approve this master plan. This raises the doubt of whether these 111 GO areas will be brought under the new Metropolitan Authority Region. Since the Municipal Administration is directly managed by the Chief Minister, he needs to address the doubts the public has regarding this issue.
